Me and my partner Sam decided to head to brighton for the weekend and found the Russell Guest House at a great price for two nights which also included breakfast. It was 2 minutes from the beach and 2 minutes into town centre, was perfect. When we first arrived the outside didn't look as attractive or inviting as windows were not as clean so didn't have great hopes but that soon changed once inside. We stayed in room 6 at the top and it was a great size room with a double bed and en-suite. The bed was very comfy with clean sheets and covers and the en-suite had a good shower with soap, shampoo and conditioner in a dispenser, even though we brought our own. Clean white towels too and were changed every day if we wanted. There was a kettle with coffee and tea sachets with milk and sugar and we took use of that which was great. There was a tv with good reception but we didn't really use this as we were out most of the time but was nice to know it was there. There was plenty of storage if we wanted to unpack our clothes from the suitcase but we didn't. The only thing that was wrong with the room was the view as it faced the back of some houses but we were out most of the time so it really didn't bother us. Oh there was also a little bit of dust on some things but overall cleanliness was good. The breakfast we had to go to their sister hotel called the Adelaide House which was round the corner so didn't bother us. The breakfast room was in the basement and was lovely decorated and great service. We both had fried breakfast and was great for me but for my partner sam it wasn't as great. Overall we had a really good time and would def come back for another stay in the near future.
If you wanting a room to just use for a weekend to sleep and change etc then room 6 is really good a...
