We stayed at Millards for 3 nights, and found it to be a lovely place to stay. Tony and Michelle were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. We've been travelling through Europe for over a month now, and found the room size here was great, plenty of space for our bags, and the rooms had everything we needed. The cooked breakfasts were fantastic, best full English breakfast we have experienced. We were on the third floor I think, but we certainly didn't mind climbing a few stairs to get to our room - it was nice to stay in an older building with a bit of charm. We'd go back for sure.
Car parking: The parking inspectors in Broad Street can be a bit over-zealous (we got a parking ticket while settling in to our room) but just make sure you ask for a parking permit (I think it costs around 10 pounds a day) first thing when you check in and you should be fine.
