Just returned from a long weekend at Sea Spray where a group of us (four) shared the Brighton Pad room.
We had a fantastic time. The room was very comfortable and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. I only wish we'd had a longer stay.

Some might find the Brighton Pad room a bit off-putting (as it's in the basement). But a lot of effort had been made to make it feel as light and airy as possible, with fairy lights in the small patio area adjacent and on the window sill in the room itself. The mock victorian lamppost in the room was a bit funny, but it just added to the charm of the place.

Best of all was the breakfast room, with a lovely view out to the sea, pier and gardens at the front.
There were a few errors with our breakfast order but these were quickly and efficiently put right.

We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next year. Throroughly recommended.

My girlfriend and i decided to have a lastminute weekend away in Brighton, so after looking at a few hotels on the web i choose the sea spray. We stayed in the venetian suite, that had a fantastic view of the pier!! On the Saturday we went for a great meal at a local restaurant that the receptionist recommended to us, then decided we would go and check out one of the clubs that was literally about a five minute walk away from the hotel, i don't think you could be in a better location. We both really enjoyed our stay at the sea spray, it was a perfect break away from London! We will definitely be back!!

I had heard so much about Sea Spray. They appear to have spent a fortune on marketing..However would it live up to the Name?

My partner and I had a fantastic weekend away in October at Sea Spray.
From the moment we made the reservation we were sure we were going to have a great weekend. Nothing seemed to must for the staff, always with a can do attittude.

Even Champagne and cooked breakfast at 11am on a Sunday morning with the papers as room service. What more can I say. Well done! keep it up. We will be back! Cant wait...

Dirty. Shower not working. No hot water at night. Taps not working. TV reception poor. Heating turned off at night - no good in November. Noisy - you can hear everything. Cramped (and I'm only 5'1"). Unfriendly reception, thye insisited that i had to pay for the remaining night that I had booked even though I couldn't wash in the room all weekend. I ignored the previous reviewer who complained about having to change hotels - and i had to do the same. LIGHTENING DOESN'T STRICK TWICE. BE WARNED.

When you look at a website you can be seduced by the pictures and words, and hugely disappointed when you get there (been there, done that i am afraid).


Not the case with Seaspray - as stylish and lovely as it said it would be. Easy to find,clean, beautifully appointed, helpful staff and a great breakfast, tasty ingredients, no grease and even beautifully arranged on the plate! Maybe only little things, but they all add up. I even smiled at the notice about the towels in the room - all done with good grace and humour.

Will visit again and recommend it to others
