The Griffin Guest House

Location is wonderful, service efficient, owners very friendly and helpful, breakfast delicious. Good night's sleep until the sun rises (and then the seagulls and pigeons start making a terrible racket). We had a rear-facing suite of two (very small) bedrooms and so there might be less noise from a front-facing room. Bathroom in dire need of refurbishment and some elbow grease

I stayed in The Griffin over bank holiday weekend in May with my boyfriend. On arrival we had help finding a parking space which was much appreciated! Lovely room with a great set up, really clean and nicely decorated. The breakfasts are amazing here and the atmosphere is really friendly and laid back. I'd recommend this place if you want to be in the centre of a lively town and be close to the sea front also.

The Griffin Guest House

Just got back from Brighton after staying at the Griffin for the first time. This was my best experience of Brighton ever and I've been staying some years. Chris & Keiron have done a fantastic job with the hotel, the rooms are clean and beautifully furnished with every attention to detail. The food is out of this world and Chris makes a mean Salmon & eggs. I was on a work trip but this made it a pleasure and they made it feel like you were staying with family. Will recommend it to anyone I meet but book early if your going as this is going to be one hotel thats in popular demand.

We have just spent 3 nights with the two charming and helpful guys who own this place and it was total perfection! Nothing too much trouble, fantastic cooked breakfast every day and a spotless clean room to enjoy! Loved the spa bath in our room (number 8) and the little terrace at the rear of the hotel is an excellent idea. We'll definitely stay here again the next time we're in Brighton and I'll be recommending this place to anyone I know heading in the direction of Brighton - keep up the great work boys!
Very sad to say goodbye:) x

“Spoilt for Choice”

The Griffin Guest House

We have just returned from The Griffin in Brighton, rang on Thursday a/m and were told no problem for an overnight stay. Owners Chris and Kieranhad excellent customer care skills and were very informative.
When we arrived we were greeted welcomly, we found this hotel very homely and at ease, we were given a room which had a four poster bed, walk in large shower separate wc and very tastefully decorated, this hotel lies in the heart of Brighton, a short walk to all shops and buzzing nightlife.
In the morning we had a cooked full english breakfast that you rarely get at most hotels all included in the price, we strongly advise visitors to Brighton go to The Griffin for all the above reasons.
