“Lovely lodging, fantastic food! :o)”

The Avondale

10 Jun 2008

A lovely hotel, with nice rooms - each with a radio, TV and wireless internet connection. The staff were friendly, the price was great and the food was excellent - especially the home-made marmalade!

Seaford itself is a nice town and is situated in just the right place to explore a large part of the south coast.

I had a very enjoyable stay with no problems and would highly recommend a visit! :D

“Well run & comfy little hotel”

The Avondale

6 Jun 2008

A comfortable & welcoming hotel with several nice touches that you might expect from much larger establishments, but are a pleasant surprise at the smaller end of the market. Our double room was homely with a decent size ensuite & the cleanliness throughout was notably good. Breakfast was hearty & good quality while the staff were warm, friendly & very helpful at all times. I'll happily book there again.

“Warm and welcoming hosts”

The Avondale

31 Mar 2008

On arrival to the Avondale Hotel I was warmly greeted by the hosts and other residents. The atmosphere was very homely, extremely tidy - spotless in fact! and the cozy living room was very inviting to sit in for drinks before our gorgeous sunday lunch.
I was very impressed by how they catered for a variety of tastes. The food was wonderful, of a very high standard and beautifully presented. The staff were so helpful and friendly thoughout my stay I found it very hard to leave!
I am very particular about bathrooms and bed linen! and I was very pleased to find everything in such a pristine state. The room was a lovely size and the general situation of the Avondale made it extremely convenient for me to venture into the lovely town and the beach too! I must book my next visit!

“A Warm and Friendly Welcome”

The Avondale

9 Mar 2008

We have stayed at The Avondale on a number of occasions in the last two years and have noted with pleasure the great improvements that have been made by Jane and Martin. A very friendly welcome, plenty of local information and knowledge on places to visit and where the best local restaurants are.

Breakfast is very good with locally sourced produce and the staff are all very friendly and helpful.

We will definitely be returning in the not too distant future.
