Excellent accomodation. Although the room we stayed in was quite cosey, it had everything in it you could want. The spa bath made it a lovely treat and the breakfast in the morning was fabulous. Would recommend this hotel to anybody wishing a short or longer stay in Portsmouth.

We were recently in the south of england and picked this hotel because it was near relatives. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and had an elegance that is not that easy sometimes to find in a seaside location . Ideal for those visiting portsmouth and area and has a friendly easy atmosphere. the rooms are decorated in a modern elegant style and chicmodern furnishings. I will visit again for a hot spa bath!

I spent two nights here recently and it is as good as the other reviews say. My room was in Somerset House, their sister hotel which is just across the road. The room was warm, comfortable and beautifully done-out and the location is very quiet at night. The atmosphere was relaxed but efficient and the manager/staff friendly and helpful. As a female travelling alone, I felt quite comfortable there. The hot breakfast was freshly-prepared and beautifully presented. The manager recommended nearby Bistro Montparnasse for dinner and I'm glad he did - it was a truly exceptional meal in lovely surroundings. Highly recommended on all counts.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights whilst visiting our son who lives in Southsea. I would thoroughly recommend the hotel. We stayed in two different rooms and they were both excellent. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are spotless and very nicely decorated each with an individual style. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely stay here again.
