We have just spent a weekend there having taken part in the Great South Run. We were pleasantly surprised with what we found. The staff were more than polite and very helpful and the room was very light and airy. The bed was so comfortable I would have liked to take it home with me! Location wise for us it was perfect and the walk in to Gunwharf Quay was just the right distance, we did find the local buses to be very good as well. We had a light breakfast on the first morning but had the full monty on the second day which was lovely. We have already booked to go back next year and would highly recommend to anyone, well done Mike and Daniel.

Lovely hotel, staff warm, friendly and very welcoming.
Charming rooms with individual decor and all mod cons, not at all corporate.
Breakfast - good choice and excellent quality.
Would stay again (in fact going back next week!)

Our first time in Portsmouth and loved the Hotel for 2 nights. Our room was comfy, service great and breakfast fantastic. We would have lingered longer but we had to catch a ferry. Would stay again if in Portsmouth.

I arrived very late in the evening but nothing was too much bother. Lovely room and very clean facilities, just what you want to see after a long trip. Breakfast was accommodated early in order to get a prompt start to the day and breakfast is just about anything you want! After breakfast the seafront is just a short stroll away. I have already arranged a return 'less hectic' trip.
