This is a very nice B&B. The owners are very pleasant and obliging. Nicely decorated, clean and tidy in an excellent and central part of town, no noticeable street noise. Breakfast was fine. The bed was very comfortable.
My only other comments would be that it wasn't outstanding in any way from the other B&B's, there were no little personal touch's to make it stand out from the rest. Maybe fluffier towels, nicer toiletries or food condiments would help to make it "stand out". This is not a criticism, I had a very restful stay for an average price.

Stayed here for 2 nights with mum and 2 children. We had the family room and mum had a single room and we were impressed with the hospitality of the owners and the very reasonable prices.

It was situated in the centre of Ambleside so was very handy for the shops/cinema and obviously the walks.

The only downside I can think of was when we were coming back at the end of the day, opened the room door and the cat ran in and wouldn't go back out again. Had to get the owners, who were very apologetic, to come and get the cat out.

Would recommend to others and would definitely go back.
