Stayed here for one night in Aug. Owner was attentative and friendly. Room was large and clean. Bed not too comfortable though. Quiet street, breakfast was very nice and quickly served. The dining room has been updated and is more modern than the photo shows. Lots of free parking after 6pm. However, my advice is to shower at night or very early in the morning as there is not enough water to go around! Beware!

This is a fine little bed and breakfast. The rooms are clean the water is piping hot and the breakfast is similarly inclined and a decent size.

Well appointed, friendly management and near the important places, a well above average establisment.

One slight niggle, in the desire to cram in as many rooms as possible of a certain size, the bathrooms are clearly the spaces which have been sacrificed. Not a problem if you are under 5'2..

They are seriously small, don't believe me, try it !!!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here in November 2004. It was a very pleasant stay, the owner was extremely friendly and helpful and the service was great. I was very pleased with the room, it was good value for money and the breakfast was good quality. The b & b was also in a good location for a fit couple, as it is 10 mins walk from windermere station, and a pleasant stroll into Bowness. I would highly recommend this b & b if you are on a budget
