We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Wheatland’s Lodge and had a wonderful time. This is a hotel where you can relax and unwind after a nice day out by the lake. It is family run and Sarah really looked after us, she was very friendly and was more than happy to recommend places for us to visit, dine etc. She also served us our breakfast in the morning which I might add was delicious!
We stayed in both the classic room and one of the superior rooms and they were both decorated beautifully. The bathrooms are very large with either a shower or a nice Jacuzzi bath..which is a great way to unwind after a long day! The décor throughout the hotel is magnificent and a lot of personal touches have been added. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone as we most certainly will be returning!!

“Excellent Experience”

Great Location ,walking distance to windermere or bowness.
We stayed in deluxe room ,very spacious with four poster bed,Plazma TV,Coffee/Tea facilites and jacuzzi bath.This B&B is very modern and contempary,fresh and clean.
Great choice of breakfast Tea/Coffee Toast, Fruits,Cereals,yogurts Croissants and cooked breakfast eat as much as you like.
Sarah and Joe are very informative and friendy and you will definately feel welcome and at home.Nothing is to much trouble.
I would recommend .

“Nice but not worth the money”

The only reason that I would not stay here again is the price.
The rooms are very nice but the noise from upstairs guests woke me up.
Breakfast - typical bnb.

We've just returned from a wonderful two night break staying at Wheatlands Lodge in Windermere.
Opened only a few months ago, it was certainly a wonderful experience. We stayed in one of the Superior Rooms on the top floor. The room was very spacious and plush. The bathroom, with jacuzzi bath, enormous.
The welcome was very friendly, and the location ideal, only a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants of Windermere.
We will certainly be returning.
