Recently stayed at these self-catering flats.
The duvet given for my daughter's fold-up bed was covered in lots of dirty looking grey marks. There was also a very large yellow stain on it. It certainly did not look freshly laundered. There was no duvet cover given either. On informing the owner, she did replace it for me with a new one.
Our own bed linen did not look very fresh either although we were informed that it was newly laundered.
However, we had to call the owner up again to look at the vanity unit in the toilet. There were tissues stuffed all down the side of it. She did remove them claiming that she would speak to the cleaner. However, on her removal of them, we noticed the pipes at the side of this unit were covered in thick dust, but she failed to mention this or clean it up. We later noticed loads of dust also on the air vent above the toilet window.
Furthermore, we noticed hairs on the shower unit and shower screen. It was obvious that the flat had not been cleaned to any acceptable standard.
The kettle in the kitchen had food marks splattered all over it as well and was in need of descaling.
The car parking situation was dire to say the least because some of the cars belonging to the flats had to be parked up the side in single file, making it impossible for anyone at the back to get out. There was a notice in the flat asking for our car keys to be left on a hook behind the door if we were going out without the car. This was to ensure that the owner could enter our room to enable her to move our car if necessary. Otherwise we would be asked at various times to move the car ourselves to let other residents out and vice versa.
A wholly disappointing experience to say the least. The worst flats we have ever been in and have been visiting Blackpool for many years with no such problems like these at any time.
