the owner malcolm was a lovely chap but obviously does not run the place full time. His caretaker was lazy and did not welcome us on arrival. The rooms needed total refurbishing and the floors and surfaces were dirty on arrival. You could not see out of windows and the room obviously had heavy smokers in them previously. If malcolm does not get a grip on this he will loose repeat customers. Tableclothes and cutlery were not clean either although the food was lovely.
I feel it was a great shame and the website gives a false idea of how it really is in reality.

Had a great weekend in middle March. Malcolm made us so welcome and his staff were always helpful and cheery. Hotel in a great area - only a few minutes walk to the main attractions. Will defiinately be visiting again!!!!
