I stayed here for about 4 nights last year on business. This hotel was clean and friendly if rather old fashioned.
The sauna operated on a strange token system which meant that if you were first to go in it would be stone cold and your half hour token only managed to warm it up a few degrees before your time was up. I gave up after the second attempt. The swimming pool was devoid of water.
The food was good however unbeknown to me the dining room held 'sittings' also known as 'banquets' at the weekend.
When I first arrived at the hotel after a 5 hour drive was told I was too late for an evening meal - I had missed the last sitting (it was around 8.oopm).

The hotel is busy with retired coach parties and the guests seemed to be enjoying themselves there.
It simply isn't geared up to the needs of business people so I wouldn't recommend it to business users.

The hotel itself was ok, but there were some problems: Breakfasts were cold and tepid, and the lasagne I had was overdone. Worst of all, I returned to the hotel one day to find my room door had been left open by the cleaning staff.

I have not stayed at this hotel, but eat here often. The food is some of the best in the Lytham/St. Annes area. Lunch menu is a real bargain as is the Sunday lunch. It is always fabulous. When I have guests to entertain, I always take them there. (The view of the sea from the lounge is not bad either.)

Located right on the seafront, the Chadwick was a most pleasant hotel for a brief nights stay.
Excellent breakfast, Excellent location and wonderfully helpful staff.

A first Class hotel, I'd recommend to anyone
