Stayed at the seafield over the easter weekend was there wae ma sons football team Bellshill boys club under 13's have to say on reading the reviews before going was a bit put off wae what to expect , on arrival we were given our key went up checked the room wasnt overly impressed. then sorted our gear out and headed downstairs to meet up with other parents have to say we all had mixed feelings we then went out to the pleasure beach came back for dinner, food was great staff lovely and friendly they were good wae the kids and as a parent when u go anywere if the kids are made welcome then u tend to relax and enjoy better.
overall rooms need a refurb, food good ,staff lovely entertainment on the sunday nite great my family enjoed themselves so would return again

“Great time”

Seafield Hotel

Our son's football team booked this hotel as we had a footie tournament. On reading some of the reviews we were dreading going here. Hotel needs upgrading but new owners will have this all sorted out within the next 12 months. We all had a great time, food was lovely, full brekkie, cereal, juice, toast, tea/coffee, evening 4 courses and then tea/coffee. They even gave all the children an easter gift on the table at dinner on Easter Sunday, which was a ceramic watering can with little chocolate eggs wrapped in cellophane, we all thought this was a nice gesture. Our room was a good size, beds a bit dated but bedding clean, ensuite was clean, new towels, ours had been newly tiled some others were still waiting to be renovated. They could be doing with more cleaning staff as rooms not as clean as they could have been. The staff were good with the boys and with around 15 x12 year old boys the place wasn't always quiet, and the boys were never once moaned at although they were all well behaved. Another 2 of our older teams went to other hotels and they weren't as impressed as us. Entertainment not great on Saturday but Sunday we had a lady comedian but she toned her act down because the children were there.
We would go back to this hotel and when it is up dated, it will be first class. All in all family friendly hotel, only thing that let it down was rooms not as clean as they could have been

Me and my partner have just come back from a 1 night stay at the seafield which i booked after seeing an ad on teletext, at just £22pp we were very happy with the location, right on the front & bang in the centre off the piers! At reception we were greeted by a very nice gentlemen who explained about the hotel and its breakfast times etc, all staff very helpful! we stayed in room 3, double bed, fitted wardrobes, drawers and tv, the room was really clean, you could even smell the cleaning materials, the bathroom was very spacious and the bedroom a little small but still great! Breakfast was nice, cereals, milk, fresh orange (in small glasses though) toast then your breakfast (1sausage, 1 bacon, 1 egg beans or tomatoes and fried bread, which is just enough after cereals and toast beforehand!!!
The hotel had a lovely conservatory with seating area, however it was too cold to sit in there in oct, lol!
overall we loved our stay, it really was great value for money, especially with the loaction of the hotel too.
I advice it to any1, who isnt soooo fussy!!
