we stayed here fora 2 night break for the illuminations and were very dissapointed. the room we were given was tiny, and had really nasty decor and overlooked a backyard. it was just awful.

water came in through the roof in the room , breakfast was average but it just wasnt a nice stay.

the only reedeming feature of this hotel is its location on the north shore which is the nicer area of blackpool, but dont stay here, you can get a much nicer hotel.

We had a great time with super location and brilliant food. It's worth a stay if only to experiance the excellent staff with such a great sense of humour. You'll love it. Will be back in 2006

The Berwyn Hotel has an excellent restaurant and a pleasant late-night bar. It is clean and smart. However, our bedroom on the top floor was totally inadequate for a double room and should never be sold as such. It was nothing like the bedrooms shown on the website. It was totally cramped, the TV was virtually on the ceiling and the en-suite would be almost inaccesible for a big person. One would not want to suffer such a room for more than two nights. This could be a good hotel, but not whilst it offers such rooms as this.

Rooms far to small with narrow stairs. Very claustrofobic. Lounge area was smoking allowed. not good if like us you are Non smokers. The food choice was limited but well cooked and served by charming staff. Will never go again when Hilton offers comparable deals with the Hilton excellence.
