I booked this hotel 4 my stag do me and 14 lads each paid £25 so £50 a room we wer greeted with metal camp beds that were approx 3inches apart or bunk beds.most of the windows we could not see out of they wer that filthy 1 of them had some1s sick down the outside.lads blatently doing class A drugs in the restroom bar, the front door was open all night leading to strangers coming in and robbing 3 of my friends rooms.went for breakfast which was disgusting and a few lads were already drinkin cider 8.00 in the mornin!!!I would not recomend this hotel if u can even call it that to my worst enemy

Turned up at the gr8 hotel and was very aprehensive after reading the last review. Room was spotless amd dont know what the fuss was all about. Ideal location and the hosts fantastic. Lynn and HUgh were gr8 with the kids and explained that the cleaner from the previous review had been dismissed. We were made very welcome and would not hesitate in returning next year for the warm friendly welcome from Lynnn, Hugh, Daney and John. Thanks once agian for a womderfull holiday

where do i start???? my family where given the keys on arrival to a room at the top of the hotel, room was dingy [ splattered walls}, dirty laminate flooring, my husband went to en-suite !! to be greeted with a huge fermenting faeces of the previous occupant as the loo didn't flush, meanwhile i checked the bedding and found one bed hadn't been changed as there was body hair and a 5pence piece in it!!!! refused room, got keys to another room opposite, a little better i suppose, walls still dingy smearings all over!! Doors banging all night, intoxicated people trying door handles, knocking on doors, definatley not a hotel for children and i would only say it's for people who like their alcohol and don't mind where they sleep or more to the point what they sleep in. I would rather pay the extra money and have nice clean rooms.
The only reason we stayed on is that everywhere else is solidly booked for that time of year, we renamed the hotel the grotty hotel. sorry for people who like the accomodation but me and my family have got standards!!!

Went for 2 nights with a friend for my Birthday an didnt want to come home! Lynn & Hughie were great. Any problems and they were on to them straight away. The atmosphere in the hotel was amazing, we had so much fun, all the guests were gr8 too.

We were free to do what we wanted when we wanted which is a bonus for all.

We will be going back to Blackpool again in the near future and will definitely be staying int The GR8 Hotel again.
