Lovely warm welcome on our arrival,the owners John and Pearl made us all feel at home from the word go,which was very reassuring for the rest of the stay.
The hotel itself has a nice layout,lovely dining room and relaxing lounge and a bar as well,very well decorated throughout and a very warm homely feel.
Service is second to none and no request is too much,very helpful with tourist attractions and places of interset in the local area of Blackpool.
A must stay for anyone who is looking for a home from home hotel,close to Blackpool town centre and very pleasant and charming hosts.
Our whole family enjoyed the stay and will definately being going back in the near future.

Just returned from the Junior Blackpool Festival - before booking this guest house on line we checked the reviews which were excellent. The Amethyst lived up to the great reviews they had received. Our room (the twin) was not large but lovely and clean which also went for the on-suite. The hosts John & Pearl were very helpful when we asked for anything. Breakfast was excellent with cerieals, fruit juice, tea & coffee and of course a full english breakfast. We would stay again and recommend this establishment to anyone.

stayed at the amethyst whilst in blackpool and i have never been made to feel more welcome during a stay in a hotel. The owners were very helpfull and at times I didnt feel like i was staying in a hotel but in a friend or family members house. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to blackpool and will certainly be staying there again.

A very warm welcoming hotel. Great breakfast,excellent hosts & a power shower! A real bonus for Blackpool. Close to Winter Gardens and centre of town 4 - 5 min walk. Will recommend and return.
