Well worth a look, very freindly, good service, clean. Nothing to much trouble, would go back.

I booked this hotel last Monday for a late deal for me and my boyfriend for 1 night. Checked in at 2.30pm and our room was ready. (Second floor Room 29)
The room was up 2 small staircases. The room was also a small room. A bed, TV, wardrobe, tea and coffee, shower clean towels etc, everything that you would need to your time at a hotel.

The room does need new fixtures, new curtains, coat of paint, new wallpaper and new carpets but I spent such little time in the room none of this mattered.

The worst thing about the place is the smell of Indian food, it does go all over the hotel Its called "The Golden Beach Tandoori Hotel" although is advertised as "Golden Beach"

There is entertainment on, the guy is a good singing, mainly caterers for the older generation and drinks are served until at least after 12.

The breakfast is a buffet and was nice you get your usual English fry up or cereals if you prefer.

There is a tram stop right outside the hotel as well so you dont need to walk that far for it.

Overall the hotel is okay, not the best but not the worst in the world. Just dont have too many expectations.

You go to Blackpool to see Blackpool not sit in a room!

We have just returned from blackpool after a 2 night stay.
WE was welcomed and payed for our room, then given the keys for the room. room 7.
I have stayed all over the world and all other great britain and ireland but i have to say this was the worse room i have stayed in.
The carpet up the stairs needs a good clean, they need some decent air freshner and well a good face lift.
when we opened the door the room was small which we could handle but it was filthy and the bath room was disgusting.
But we was only there for 2 days so we headed out. we came back late at night and went to bed which was a horrible nights sleep.
the next morning we went for breakfast and well it was help your self and we got there 20 minutes into service but looked like it had been there for 5 hours it looked and tasted horrible.
We ended up with toast.
So the next morning we didnt bother with breakfast and came home.
I have stopped in blackpool about 20 times and probably 15 different hotels and B&B's, this is the worse.
I am so sorry i have had to put this but it needed to be told.
I didnt bother complaining cause there is no point what can they have done???
seems looking at all the other reviews all the rooms seem the same.
We will be coming to blackpool again but sorry to say not the golden beach

Well after reading the reviews i was not really expecting much,but i was pleasantly surprised,cannot fault the hotel.We got back today and for the price i really enjoyed it,we had a family room and it was clean there was fresh towels and toiletries,the breakfast was good and Saturdays entertainment although not alot of people watched it the singer was very good.Please go and make your own mind up if i wanted 5* then i would have gone to a hotel larger and paid more,the hotel staff were pleasant to speak to,i cannot fault this hotel,for the price your paying it was more than adequate,
