My family and I have stayed at Sparkles Hotel three times this year - we love it!!
I stayed on my own with three children under 6 for a week each time and still had a completely relaxing and enjoyable holiday myself. The kids could have easily stopped in the hotel all day without worrying about missing out on the Pleasure Beach!
Mrs Sparkle is an amazing hostess, my children want her to be their grandma - what a complement from a 6 yr old!
The concept of this hotel is unique, it's fabulous and Mrs Sparkle herself makes the hotel magical. You feel like you're at home with Mary Poppins!!
No amount of pictures / photos can do justice to this holiday, you must stay there to experience the magic.

Immerse yourself in a fantasy world of illusion and for the child with an imagination a paradise of sorts. The hotel provides all the essentials and the big plus being the remarkable themed rooms throughout the hotel. Does your child like 101 dalmations? Narnia perhaps? would you like to live as a King & Queen in a castle bedroom for a fortnight with breakfast in bed? Without a doubt there is no alternative in Blackpool that can give you this true experience for real. Mrs Sparkles as an excellent host provides entertainment for the children both at breakfast and in the evening allowing you some extra relaxation if you wish it. All amenities are close at hand and you only need to ask to receive a recommendation for where the best places are to dine. A great experience and one that would be particularly welcome to familes with younger children. A must see.

Sparkles Hotel is a children's themed hotel in Blackpool. We went for one week (mother and 6 year old daughter) and stayed in the Fairy Woodland Suite. This hotel is fab!! The host Mrs Sparles is a lovely caring lady who the children love. She provides activities for children at breakfast and evening (around 3 hours) and the hotel is specifically designed with children in mind. There is a ball pit, playroom, a beautiful 'under the sea' dining area and above all great themed rooms= Barbie, Narnia etc. , lots of toys and a great atmosphere. (My little girl loved the cow themed toilet in the downstairs lobby). Nothing was too much trouble, and I would recommed this hotel to anyone with young children. Location was also great, near to pier, Pleasure Beach and Sands, and it was quiet and peaceful in the evening. Brill! 10/10. We will definitely go again, and believe me, it is worth any extra money, just for the look on the childrens faces... Sue. (Ps. Dressing up clothes are lovely too in all the rooms!)

Although Mrs Sparkles herself is wonderful. The rooms are a little shabby. There was no cooked breakfasts when we stayed, I dont know if this has changed now.
