Decided to have a couple of nights in Blackpool for the wife's birthday.

Best decision we ever made was booking with Terry and Jan

Their hotel is spotless and very comfortable.

Breakfast is top class

Bar is reasonably priced.

Parked right outside the door

Terry and Jan are really freindly and always happy to engage in a good conversation.

We Will Return

“Spent a great weekend at the Middleton”

Middleton Hotel

12 Feb 2008

We arrived on the Friday afternoon to a warm welcome and a cup of tea. Spent a pleasant half hour chatting to Jan and Terry and were then shown to our room.
The room had everything we required and was warm and exceptionally clean.
The hospitality was second to none and it requires a revisit.
Our hosts Jan and Terry were very informative about the attractions for the time of year and even booked the taxis to take us to various restaurants. With the information they gave us we vistited the Lake Distict which was in easy travelling distance by car. This turned out to be a great day out. On our return we were once again greeted with warmth. They showed interest about our days out.
Breakfast was one of the best we have had, well prepared and presented and was generous and gave us a good start to the day.
My husband who travels a lot for his work told me that the standard at this establishment was better than some 4* hotels he has stayed at.

“best small hotel i have stayed in”

Middleton Hotel

12 Feb 2008

From the front door on arrival we (6 of us ) were greeted as if the owners had known us for years. We were expected and known that we had travelled a few hours to get there and were fed with a few sandwiches and tea on arrival, which was over and above what would normally be expected at a small hotel (ten rooms).
We were given the freedom to do as we wished, for the weekend, without any hinderence of how to get back in ect. We all found the rooms bright airy and fresh. I could see no evidence of unkept bedroom or shower room, the place was excellent in every respect. Even the towels were a piece of art on the beds!
The breakfast was something to behold and was ordered the evening before, which was an exellent way of cutting down on waste, well done you!
Nothing was too much trouble for the owners who advised us on local goings on and trips and places to see. Taxis were booked for us, and on our return (during the day) a welcome cup of tea was always offered.
A great weekend thanks to the courtesey, care and hard work of Terry and Jan. Thank you most sincerely, the both of you, which turned out to be a most memorable and very comfortable weekend .

Received a Warm and Friendly welcome from Jan and Terry.
They were very accomodating in our Request.
Considering this is not one of your top hotel chains my Room was very clean and a good size for a Small family hotel.
Breakfast was outstanding, plenty of it!
Will definately be back.
