the hotel was clean and smelt really fresh. the rooms were a good size and all ensuite. breakfast was great, it was selfserve full english breakfast as well as cereal, tea/coffee and fruit juice.
the bar was well stocked and we had entertainment on which was fun.
there was also a night porter on in the evening who help us if we needed anything at night.

“Friendly, family hotel with”

Alexandra Hotel

The hotel is a budjet price hotel so dont expect a five star hotel, if you want the hilton pay the hilton prices.

The rooms are clean although some could do with re-decorating, But if your after a stop over then well worth the price.

The staff are straight spoken and friendly and you can have a great laugh with them the owners are always on hand. The bar prices are reasonable and cheaper than the clubs so better to get a good start there. The range of drinks is average for a hotel bar, but if you "teach them" a new drink it gets added to the list.

They are newish hoteliers but are more than happy to take suggestions on what you would like to see. And unlike a lot of hotel, if you need an early breakfast ( we do at 7am) then they are more than happy to arrange it, so no strict meal times which means if you pay for a breakfast you get one,

Would i use them again? the answer is yes and we do on a requalar basis as it really is a friendly family hotel that makes you feel part of their family for the duration of your stay.

“Not So Bad!!!!”

Alexandra Hotel

18 Sep 2007

Just came back from my hen party in Blackpool and stayed in the Alexandra with another 17 girls.
When we arrived we had to have a change around because the rooms we were given had been changed over due to a party of disabled people so fair enough really.
The rooms were clean and you could see out of the windows and the staff were really friendly.
The breakfast was satisfying as you could have cereal aswel as a full english and all the juice and tea and coffee you could drink.
The day after when we checked out, we were aloud to leave all our luggage in reception and when she seen how hung over we all were she even kindly made us a pot of tea.
Overal i was happy with the accomadtion and the staff were well friendly.
This other review on here must be the wrong hotel or a slight exageration.
What does this person expect for £25 the Ritz xx

Just come back from a weekend in the hell whole, jeez not what i expected, pictures are decieving ! Its expensive for what you get, the rooms are dirty, you literally cant see out the windows because of the dirt, there is no hot-water in any of the hotel and its been like that for quite some time, everything about the hotel is dated, the walls had cobwebs on, there was dust everywhere, i was gob-smacked. The shower doors were old & rickety and filthy - really scummy !The bar, well its not a bar, its a few plastic optics with plastics shelves with crisps on, The breakfast was okay but tiny and certainly not a full english. The waitress was rude and came thumping on our bedroom door yelling breakfast when breakfast isnt served until 8:30.

Im not over exagerating please dont waste your money.
