Myself and three friends have just returned from what i can only describe as a fantastic weekend at the crewes original. The room was very clean and ample space for the four of us. The food was very nice indeed as was the sevice. he staff are very helpfull and full of fun. We had a great time and WILL be going again very soon.

Just came back after staying two nights at the crewes original when we first arrived we had a room on the very top floor which was tiny there was no dressing table or table and chairs at the window like we were promised when we booked and the wardrobe could not open fully without hitting the bed.

When booking we were shown a room and were told our room would be identical to that one which it was not so we went and complained.

The room we then got was really nice it was spotless it was much bigger with a large bathroom a table and chairs, over looking the sea etc.

The people seemed friendly and we were made to feel welcome by the man. Overall my boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay and the room in which we were in (eventually) was lovely!

I would go again if i got a big room but saying that the small room wasnt horrible or dirty it just wasnt big! lol

I probably haven't been much help but this is my opinion and I thought i would share it.

stopped hear the previous year and yet again we are back. also booked up for next year me and the wife plus four other friends from scotland and nuneaton. we all enjoyed our stay from the friendly staff and the excellent food.from the moment we step through the hotel door we are made at home thanks for everything debs see you again

how did this second rate b&b get hotel of the year?. the room we were in was tiny with a double bed you had to climb on to let the other pass you, to reach a cuboard that was meant to be the on sweet bathroom. never again.

Stayed here with my young son on the basis that it was family friendly etc. We were in a tiny attic room..could hardly move.The room was up five flights of stairs (not great with a youngster). Had to pay full adult rate for a 3 year old!! Then midweek came back to find our room left open and unattended with plumbers due because there was a leak in the building somewhere. Hence we were left with a fowl smell in the room and no explanation!
Would I recommend this hotel? No chance...Ive stayed in far better ordinary B&B'S for less.
