Just got home from a lovely stay at The Fylde. My partner and i went to see a concert at the Winter Gardens (Bjork- she was fantastic!) and was really pleased with our choice to stay here.

We got a 'concert rate' of £20 per head which is a real bargain, so I was pleased from the start. The hotel is modern, clean and fresh with a very relaxing atmosphere. The lovely main room at the front of the hotel makes you feel right at home. We had afternoon tea which was such great quality. Real coffee and warm homemade scones, fresh out of the oven with real cream and jam too. Thats something that stood out for me- everything was real; Real butter, real tea, real breakfast. Not cheap tea bags or dodgy rooms as you'd expect for such a good price. There are no cut corners at The Fylde, We felt looked after and really welcome from the moment we were met at the door to the moment we were waved off.

The room was good; a nice size, good temperature (I hate boiling hot hotel rooms) bed was comfy, decor was fresh and shower was great. Its a great little place to stay and we'd highly recommend it.

This is our 3rd stay at The Fylde, and yet again a lovely comfortable, clean homely stay. The pool table was once again the highlight of my little boys stay. We like the cleanliness of this hotel, and each time we visit yet more refurbishment of the hotel has taken place. The hotel is 2 miles from the Zoo which is great for a day out, and the seafront is a 10 min walk away. And if you do sample the food on offer make sure you order the Chicken Pie, it is FANTASTIC!!

We were a family of 7 who decided we would visit Blackpool for a short break over Easter weekend and booked this hotel after reading the reviews on tripadvisor.

We arrived very early and Vicky and Kate greeted us at they door giving a very warm and freindly first impression. Vicky cooked us a lovely full english breakfast with fresh fruit and cereals and fruit juice and showed us to our rooms. The hotel is clean and comfortable and has a very nice home from home feel definately reflected in the fact that Vicky and her Mum and Dad clearly want you to enjoy your stay.

The beds were comfortable, the shower was lovely ( I think that some of the rooms had upgraded showers) the rooms were small but they were warm and considering the price you can't complain.

We opted to stay in and eat on our first night and Vicky made several choices including a delicious homemeade curry, you can have a three course meal for £9.99 which we all felt was very reasonable. We enjoyed the company of other guests with a few drinks down in the bar and a couple of games if pool. whilst other members of our group watched the freeview tv in the lounge

We left just after breakfast and Vicky presented the kids with Easter eggs each which we thought was a lovely touch , she was very good with all the kids which is just what you need when you are on a family holiday .

Thw weather was very cold but the welcome was very warm and I agree with the reviews so far Vicky and her Mum and Dad deserve their rating.

Go every year to Blackpool for the Brass Band contest and I have to say every other place we have stayed in Blackpool is a disgrace and I would not go back except for the contest. But this has now changed we are now planning a trip to one of the shows which will be booked around the accomodation and not the show i.e when there is a room available at the Flyde Hotel. It is surely the no.1 place to stay in Blackpool the service, rooms and breakfast are superb, and they serve a decent pint of beer. Thanks for a enjoyable stay.

me and my husband stayed here on a Friday night. This is a fantastic, family-run hotel, really really clean, very homely and cosy, very comfortable bed, fantastic shower, lovely breakfast. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, the hotel is about 10 mins walk from the tower and all the shops so it is in an excellent location. We will definitely return when we next visit Blackpool!
