Recently tried this restaurant for Sunday lunch. Quality of food 5 star (and represented very good value), but ambiance a bit basic (cheap, black tables, no tablecloths or linen in sight), although staff attentive and our problem with a chosen wine was swiftly dealt with. So would recommend for expertly cooked and tasty food, but if you want to feel truly pampered, perhaps opt for Jews House.

Thank you for your review and for taking the time to leave the feedback. I am glad you enjoyed your meal and was pleased with the service you experienced. With regard to the ambience, Sunday Lunch is a time when we dress the Restaurant differently and do not use Linen to create a point of difference.

Sunday Lunch is sometimes seen as a more relaxed, possibly family occassion and, due to custopmers feedback, we chose to leave the tables bare. I personally prefer the look of the Restaurant as the tables are beautiful and very well made wooden tables hand-picked for the Restaurant.
I do hope this has not put you off visiting us again in the future.
