“Very comfortable”

We stayed here for one night when we were house-hunting in Lincolnshire. The house was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, and our room was very comfortable. The en suite shower room, with its double shower, was particuarly nice, and the towels were thick and soft. Breakfast was good, and the owners were friendly and helpful. Another point worthy of note was that there was ample parking for the number of rooms available - not always the case at many guest houses. We would certainly recommend The Gables.

We couldn't have found a better place than The Gables; friendly, helpful service right from our first telephone enquiry, no need for pages of praise---simply the best!

“One of the Best”

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Gables on the 23rd December 06, which is situated in North Hykeham just outside of Lincoln.

The guest house is one of the best, if not the best guest house we have stayed in.

The Guest house and the room we stayed in were very nicely decorated and the en-suite bathroom was modern, very clean and a good size.

The owners Dave and Jo were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent, using good quality fresh produce from local suppliers.

The Gables is ideally located for visiting the beautiful city of Lincoln and the surrounding area.
