Great new hotel in the old part of Lincoln. Room was fantastic...very modern with stripey carpet, huge plasma tv and excellent bathroom. The hotel has it's own bar downstairs for pre dinner drinks etc and a huge lounge with comfortable sofas. The hotel has only just opened and it's obvious that a lot of money has been spent during the refurbishment. The hotel restaurant is directly opposite and the food was excellent. Highly reccommended to all!

Not a 5star hotel!! I would consider this an upmarket B&B. The bedroom was lovely and clean as was the en-suite. Check out the breakfast rates - they can vary enormously? -oops did I say B&B, perhaps that should just read "B"!!

I found this hotel through their website which promises 5 star luxury. On arrival I realise this hotel is currently ungraded so "5stars" is a complete lie!! In fact this is not a hotel as it has no restaurant on site and feels more like a pretentious expensive b&b.The reception area seems to be stuck at the back of the hotel so lack of greeting and confusion begins the moment you arrive and walk into the bar and have to be directed down a corridor to a little window...bit like a taxi rank window??The staff seem to be unable to answer the simplest of question about the area and no-one seems at all sure how things work or
"cares" enough to find out for you??
My next business trip I'll be back to the White Hart!! 3 good honest stars!!

I have to stay in Lincoln a few times a month and usually stay at the Bail House (owned by the same company). However, after being informed that Charlotte House was now open I couldnt wait to try it!

Needless to say i wasnt disappointed despite the fact that the hotel has only been open a few weeks the service was fantastic.

Anybody who stays in uphill Lincoln will know that parking can be a nightmare, however because the hotel grounds are quite large this was not a problem. Onsite secure parking is included and reassuringly they have a nightporter who I'm told regularly patrols the hotel grounds.

24 hour room service is available although I had no need to use this service.

Overall a fantastic stay at Lincolns newest hotel - a hotel that the city has needed for a long time!!!
