After I left the gourmet wonderland of W1 I thought my days of having saliva enducing Thai food a 10 minute drive away.
I have a larger than average group of French friends who live very close to this Gem. They seem to think anything they touch becomes gourmet. (BBQ snails was not a good idea)
Well I am pleased to announce that they all love this place. I think over the years we have tried everything on the menu. We are yet to find one thing that we have not loved.
Ok trendy and minimalist it is not. It has a feel of the 80's about it.
Functional it is. It's clean and comfortable.
The staff are wonderful. Very attentive.
I do agree that this place is a little expensive for the area. However if the food on offer here was served to us in the west end in a minimalist restaurant then we would be expecting to pay double. So ignore the fact that's it's expensive for the area and celebrate the fact it's so close to us.
