We couldn't find a review for Hyde Park Suites 9 Talbot square when we booked. This is one of many properties which come under the name Hyde park suites. We stayed in a studio with my husband and I in the bed and my 17yr old daughter on the couch.
The room is small and reasonably functional. The kitchen had basic cooking facilities but we didn't try cooking in there. The apartment was on the first floor and the lift wasn't working so a couple of trips were needed to get our luggage upstairs.
They refer ti the apartment as serviced but it wasn't although an extra set of towels was provided mid week. They didn't supply much at all, we had to buy our own loo paper and the shower was tiny, and I didn't know you could make a bathroom so small. Wifi for free was a bonus but it didn't work for the first two days and took many phone calls to sort out. The check in happens at a different site but they provided a car to get us and our luggage to the apartment for free, for which I thank them. The room was not secure, no locks on the windows. The blinds were broken letting in lots of light and the Telly only had 5 English stations but we werent there to watch tv. Excellent location. No early check in which was a pain after 26 hour flight from Melbourne.
