Had a wonderful meal here. The highlights for me were the mussels on special, jus perfectly cooked and with the most flavorsome cooking juice. Scallop carpaccio was melt in the mouth with just the right hint of lemon and herb, not so sure about the dried fruit for my taste. My veal chop was perfectly cooked, juicy and tasty, might have enjoyed a little sauce with it and a garnish of some sort. The fries were amazing, perfect crunchy outside and fluffy in the centre. Pain perdu as a desert was expertly executed, nice and golden crisp caramelization on the outside with the batter running all the way through the smooth buttery bread.
I was surprised to find the wine list very reasonably priced but expected a little more excitement from the selection.
Service was very attentive informative and friendly
A return visit is most definitely on the cards.
