I've personally never had any bad experiences here. I'v always been in here when the lower floor is standing & it's been great, the floor is slopped so you can see the act on stage where ever you stand.
The venue is a little dated & old looking but it kinda add's something different to the modern venues around nowadays.
The facilities could be better & the toilets aren't they best but other then that it's a nice little venue.
Can't provide any review on what it's like from the upper tier as i'v never been up there, sorry!
It's a fairly quick, easy walk from the Hammersmith tube station, turn left when you come out (don't go out of the shopping centre yet!) & carry on walking until you have to bare right by a Tesco's then turn left at the end of Tesco's & you should see a slight ramp to your left with some glass doors at the top, go up there & turn left straight away down some steps into a underground subway, then i think it's the first set of steps on the right you have to go up & just walk straight & the venue will be on your left within seconds :D
You could also turn right out of the shopping centre & then turn left & the venue is straight down the road infront of you but i'm not sure if there's a zebra crossing nearby to cross the busy main road!!
Hammersith is fairly easy to get to from mainline stations with the Piccadilly, District & Hammersmith & City line all stopping there!
