“good value for London but rooms can be a bit small”

Good location and reasonable in price, although the room I had (a single room) was a bit small. Decoration is smart and new. Furnishings are modern. The hotel does not offer breakfast but there are plenty of cafes nearby (especially around Earls Court and Gloucester Road stations).

“Outstanding hotel”

I stayed in one of the single rooms here for 5 days and found it to be an absolutely outstanding hotel. The single room was downright tiny (see my photos), but the space is so well designed that I never really felt cramped; in fact, I felt less cramped here than I have in other rooms that were much larger in area but less well laid-out. The rooms are in great condition (having been open less than two years) and they seem to actively keep the place up (as evidenced by the painting that was ongoing in the hallways during my visit). In general, I felt like I was in a high-end boutique hotel, which I guess it is, just without the high-end price. The design throughout the place is very clean and modern, with high-end fixtures in the bathroom and a flat-panel television on the wall.

The location is excellent - it's a very short walk to the Earl's Court Tube station and good restaurants on Earl's Court Road, and not very far to Kensington Gardens, museums, and lots of other stuff. At the same time, it's very quiet; I very rarely heard any noise from adjacent or upstairs rooms, and the tucked-away location means that there is no street noise at all.

The staff were very helpful, offering restaurant recommendations along with discount coupons for several nearby places. They were also nice enough to let me check out late on the day that I left.

If I had to find something to complain about (and believe me, it's difficult), it would be the bed. It was comfortable enough to sleep in, but it felt rather cheap, especially when I sat on it (I could feel the springs inside, and they made lots of springy noises when sitting down or getting up).

In general, I think that this is a perfect place for a traveler who wants a nicer place at a relatively reasonable price.

Ultra modern, smart hotel. All of the amenities you want like a kitchenette and internet access through the tv.

The hotel is a good value and you can save even more by taking advantage of the kitchenette and saving on food.

The hotel is near the Earls Court tube stop and a Marks & Spencers food store.

The furnishings are new and the room was very clean.

LOVED IT!

I had a wonderful 6 night stay at this hotel. It is a very easy 5 minute walk from Earl's Court station in a safe neighborhood. It's in a great location for seeing the London sights and is within 5 tube stops to all the major sightseeing areas.

The front desk and housekeeping staff were very helpful and friendly, and did their best to answer any questions I had. On the first day I requested 2 bath towels instead of just 1 and they remembered to give me 2 for the rest of my stay.

The single rooms are small, but adequate for one person alone. It was very fresh and everything was well maintained and simply and stylishly decorated. The bed was the most comfortable I've used when traveling and had great pillows...I slept so well everynight! The power shower was perfect and they provided lovely aromatherapy toiletries. The free internet via the TV was very useful for checking my e-mail and browsing the web. The small kitchen was nice for heating up take-away and making my coffee in the morning.

There are many restaurants and fastfood establishments close to the hotel, as well as places to pick up groceries. There's also a bank with ATMs and a post office right outside EC tube station.

I highly recommend this hotel to any traveler and will definitely stay there again if I'm in London.

I stayed here with two friends in March this year and really liked it - so much so that we actually didn't leave our room until 10pm on the second day! The room was very clean and modern, but in a nice traditional (completely refurbished) building in a nice quiet street. We had two standard single beds plus an extra bed that I think was a fold out but you would never have known it other than that it was slightly lower down than the other two. There was a nice wall mounted flat screen TV with free internet in the room (although the internet on the TV was a little slow - but they did also have wireless if you had your laptop with you) and decent enough space for hanging clothes etc - plus a brilliant hair dryer! The bathroom was great - really spacious and nicely done. The best bit though was the mini kitchen hidden behind two doors - stainless steel and equipped with (almost) everything we needed including a fridge and a microwave. We just popped round the corner to the local Marks and Spencer for lovely food and saved ourselves a little bit of money on eating out - although there is a Wagamama in the area (along the high street) which I would highly recommend.

Even although this is a little out of the way for most of the touristy things it's not difficult to get around at all as the hotel is actually only about a 5 minute walk from the tube station and on Saturday night we got a night bus home easily in the wee hours of the morning. If you're looking for somewhere that's good value and really nice, in a quiet yet convenient location then I would recommend it - but not if you want to be in the centre of all the action 24 hours a day.
