Pretty & elegant hotel, great location, clean with 5* service, spacious room.
Staff are helpful and friendly.
Maybe a little refurbishment will help to improve.
Not easy to get in and out of the hotel with the room card but I believe its for security reason.
We will come back.

I booked one night stay here at very last minute. The hotel managed to upgrade us to a very spacious suite with two bathrooms.

We arrived quite early on Sunday morning and the room was not available, we left our bags with concierge and walked to Trafalgar Square, visited London eye and surrounding attractions with our two young children.

When we returned at 4, the room was ready and we also enjoyed using the executive lounge throughout our stay. I however do encourage the hotel management to consider giving the platinum guests thto use the terrace restaurant with a supplement charge rather than pay the full rate as many other Starwood hotels in Asia and US often do.

The South African lady (apologies for not remembering her name)at guest services is wonderful about restaurant recommendation and we took her advice and had a lovely time with our friends.

We also used the pool, and with the location, it's priceless! The children loved it.

Back from a 4-day trip in London with accommodation at Le Méridien Picadilly.
Apart from his amazing location, we are absolutely disappointed by this hotel which was one of our favorite in London! So (huge) nasty stains on the room floor, bath cleanliness to an almost unacceptable degree, breakfast buffet (which was so great in the past) with quite often empty dishes and so much time to be refilled... ! For sure, I was not prepared to such a frustration!!!

At least twice a year we spend a couple old days at le Meriden Piccadilly. We had some good and bad suprises in the past, and this time everything went on fine. At the reception an additional sofa has been arranged and it makes it more practical and friendly. This is a very good decision. A lot of new faces among the employees. We miss Virginie H. Good to see Nicolas at the reception. The young latvian Lady at the restaurant is very professional and helpfull. Thanks to everyone.

Room tip: If you like it calm, avoid the room on Piccadilly Street and take one inside, a the end of a corridor.

You cannot enter the hotel main entrance (to reception or lobby) without a room card and we found this annoying and a little unusual for such a large hotel. The rooms are very generous in size, both times we have stayed the double rooms are huge- almost the size of a suite- but could do with a refurb but are clean and have most things you would need. Minibar- which was inside a wardrobe- contained 8 cans of coke, 6 beers, but no spirits(?!). Room service then later made a fault with our drinks order. Overall a good hotel which I would have no problem staying in again. You cant fault the location - and overall a good hotel which I would have no problem staying in again.

Dear BreeLondon,

Thank you for posting your review on TripAdvisor following your recent stay with us.

I was delighted to discover that you appreciated the hotel’s unrivalled location in the heart of London and all services provided by our Concierge team. I have shared your comments with them as they are working dedicated to make every guest feel special. I was concerned reading your comments about your disappointment with regards to your arrival experience and the room allocated to you. This is certainly not the high standard of service we are aiming to provide to our guests and I have passed on your feedback to our Guest Service Manager so that appropriate action can be taken.

Once again, I am truly sorry for any shortcomings you may have experienced and I sincerely hope that this experience will not deter you from choosing Le Méridien Piccadilly or Starwood Hotels for your next visit to London. Please feel free to make your reservation directly through my office and I will be pleased to assist you.
