We have just returned from a stay at the Clifton Ford and were very pleased with our choice. Good service, concierge, reception, bar/bistro at 108 Marylebone Place which we sampled, all very 4 star. Guests appeared to be mainly tourists and mostly American.
We were not expecting much as had booked a very reasonably priced overnighter with Superbreaks to see the Chinese Terracotta Warrior/Tutenkhamun exhibitions in London, but the value for money was great. Our room was no 485, partly refurbished possibly as everything was fine except for the old bath panel and a bit of mould on the bath - both of which could easily be put right - but apart from that it was fine. Large bed, big flat screen tv, mini bar, fine size wise. My husband found the humm noise from the air conditioning plant outside annoying but you are in a noisy city and it didn't bother me.
Location superb, a nice part of London around Marylebone Lane and so close to everything. Recommended.
