“Margaret Farrelly knows good Hotels..London”

The year of the Royal Wedding we paid a visit to London, to see the wedding dress and more!!

I had stayed at The Cadogan a few years ago and loved it...I found a great offer with flights on Aer Lingus web site.

We arrived at 8.30am on a wet London morning..to be met with a warm greeting a great , if expensive, breakfast and the promise of an early room check in. Our room was really great...bigger than most city hotels and so comfy. accommodation staff were amazing..one of the ladies on hearing I was having trouble locating the bath stopper, actually ran a bath for me. Each night we got fresh bottled water and the offer of turn down.

The Cadogan is a real find in the heart of Sloane Street ...amazing location ...minutes from Harrods and from the great restaurants and shops of Sloane Square and Duke of York Square... like a Country House Hotel with a great drawing room in the middle of London. They have amazing concierge dedicated to making you feel looked after ..they know all of London and get you from A to B hassle free.

Other amazing places on our trip..The Mess Restaurant at the Saatchi Gallery in Duke of York Square..The Chelsea Bistro in Sloane Square.
The Courtauld Art Institute, Sacchi Galley and the amazing tour of Buckingham Palace complete with a great "afternoon tea" style lunch in a beautiful tent on the lawn.
The Little White company off Sloane Square for the Best Childrens and baby items.French Sole off Sloane Street for beautiful shoes.

All in all a great trip.

Dear Guest's,

Firstly may we thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay with us in August.

We understand that we have many international guests arriving from all over the world into London and that they may require an early check in. Where possible the Front of House team will always accomodate this ensuring our guests can rest after a long journey before commencing their exploration of London and I pleased that you were able to experience this service on your arrival.
Being a smaller propertry than other hotels in London our bedrooms do differ enabling us to cater for many varying guest requirements and inparticular our Deluxe Rooms upwards are very spacious compared to other hotels in the area and we understand the importance of this as it allows our guests after a day out of the hotel to spaciously rest and relax.
The entire team at The Cadogan Hotel is focused on the guest and when a guest is experiencing a problem as you did we ensure that we act immediately to overcome the issue with very little disruption to the guest. I am very pleased that you expereinced this service with one of our accomodation staff who again are focused on ensuring you have a comfortable stay and this includes the complimentary mineral water we provide during our turn down service every evening.
You have mentioned our Concierge team and how you describe them as "Amazing", we are very priviledged to have a team headed by our Head Conceirge Joe Condron who have all a number of years experience and vast knowledge of London and the best places to visit.
Our location is prime being located in the wonderful neighbourhood of Knightsbridge and all the famous stores it has to offer and with excellent walking distance to Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace and such places.
The entire team are extremely pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us in August and we look forward to welcoming you once again to The Cadogan Hotel.

“Great Location, Excellent standard”

Stayed at Cadogan with my Spouse. Were offered a double room under the roofs, well decorated but too small for us. We were then proposed a room which had been recently refurbished in contemporary style, perfect. The location of the Hotel, so close to Kings Road for Shopping, ideal. Area chic and special! Meet some famous french actors were staying there at same time like us. The breakfast buffet, very wide choise, is fantastic. Parking facilities.

Room Tip: Ask for Contemporary Rooms if you look for larger ones

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay with us at The Cadogan Hotel.

We are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed staying in one of more newly refurbished rooms in the hotel. Having strong historical links as a hotel we have preserved great original features enabling guests to see and feel the historical ambience. We have over the past 12 months upgraded our Deluxe rooms to emcompass a more modern contemporary feel and this is a room you and your spouse stayed in.

We have many high profile guests staying from the theatre, stage and screen with us at The Cadogan Hotel and this choice is somewhat driven by the intimate feel of the hotel and the level of service experienced from the entire team. Our guest's feedback is very important to us and it enables us to constantly monitor and develop more strongly our levels of service.

We look forward to welcoming you back to The Cadogan Hotel very soon.

“Great location and excellent staff, will return”

Hotel is centrally located only 5 mins away from Harrods and Sloane Square. It is an old hotel, full of character and charm and not at all bland. they were repainting part of it and as our room smelt strongly of paint we asked to move which was no problem and the staff were accommodating. Continental breakfast was excellent in a very nice dining area. We also had afternoon tea, which was wonderful, with beautiful scones and cakes. I can highly recommend this hotel if you want somewhere a little bit less corporate looking, service was excellent and I hope we'll be back!

“Excellent service makes a wonderful stay!”

I stayed for one night in August, visiting London to spend an evening with friends. Staying here made the night away really special starting with a wonderful afternoon tea with champagne, some leisurely lounging around with drinks before going out and then a very peaceful nights sleep in a massive and very comfortable bed, in a beautiful room. Breakfast was fabulous and all throughout the stay (albeit very short) the service was impeccable, friendly but professional and I felt really well looked after. I would recommend this hotel on the service experience alone thanks to the staff there, but the building, the history and the general ambience is wonderful too. I very much look forward to staying again!!!

“A relaxing stay...”

My 3 night stay at this hotel was a real treat - it was planned as a relaxing break and I certainly left relaxed.  The staff team, headed by Lee Jones, was friendly without being either intrusive or too formal.  They were also responsive to all my requests - even when I struggled to turn on the telly!!!  I loved the feeling of history and could have spent hours sipping tea in the comfortable and peaceful bar and lounge (in fact I did!).  Grand and airy room with comfortable bed - would definitely recommend!
