We stayed at the Premier Inn, Putney Bridge during 12th – 16th March 2012. The location was extremely good with the underground station only a 2 minute walk away. The hotel is right on Putney Bridge with one side having very good views over the Thames. We requested a high floor room overlooking the Thames and that is exactly what we received. The rooms are large with enough hanger and shelving space, tea/coffee making facilities supplied.
Staff at this Premier Inn, from the reception to the bar and restaurant staff, also including the chefs which we frequently saw, were all very friendly and polite and took great care to make sure everything was of a very high standard.
We opted for the £22 meal deal offer for the duration of our stay and were very happy with the choice and quality of both the breakfasts and evening meals. The breakfasts have premium branded goods, huge variety of cereals, bread, croissants, yoghurts with fresh fruit compote, perfectly cooked breakfast and if you still felt limited for choice the kitchen would cook you an omelette, poached eggs and vegetarian foods to order – the juices and wide range of various fresh coffee and tea were also available – there really was everything you could want.
There really weren’t enough days to be able to try everything we wanted to on the menu. The selection of starters, main course and evening meal were vast and the quality of the food was brilliant.
We would definitely recommend this Premier Inn as somewhere comfortable to stay if visiting London with its public transport links. We will definitely be returning to this Premier Inn in the future.
