Hotel is in a fab location, with Leicester Square just round the corner. I stayed in a double room, but no way was the room big enough for 2. It was by far the tiniest hotel room I have ever stayed in. There was no storage space, and no window, which took a lot of getting used to. The ceiling was very low, and the bed short, so I wouldn't recommend it for tall people. When using the shower I had to wait until the water drained away before opening the bathroom door, as there was no shower door, so the water would have gone into the bedroom. The towels were on the bed as there wasn't room to store them anywhere. However, the staff were friendly and the free Wifi was very good. It was OK for a night, but not for longer.

Dear Lucy,

Thank you for your review.

I am sorry if our double room did not meet your expectations, some people might find our rooms not suitable depending on their needs. We do offer larger rooms with windows (Queen Rooms) which we believe it would have suited better yours.

In regards to your comments about no place to hang the towel in the bathroom, we have took into consideration past feedback and have re-designed our bathrooms in our newest properties. Thank you for your comments about our staff and location, I will pass your comments to the team.

We look forward to welcoming you again and please contact me at carol@thezhotels.com should you wish to book again and we will ensure we will find a more suitable room for you.

Kind Regards,

Carol Garcia

Previously stayed in Z Hotel Glasgow and found it good value for money and loved the quirky decor. So when planning a trip to London earlier this month, decided to visit the Z hotel again and we weren't disappointed.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were a lot smaller than the Glasgow branch but they were very clean and the bed was comfy.

The hotel is situated in a great location, a 3-5 min walk to nelsons column. The hotel backs on to the bustling soho night life with great bars and restaurants. And a 5 mins walk to the club G-A-Y. It's also just round the corner from china town, which makes a great walk and is packed with shops and restaurants.

Yet again another great stay, would highly recommend.

After the initial shock of the size of the room (compact to say the least!) we were very pleasantly surprised. The room was spotlessly clean with a very large comfortable bed and lovely wet room. The tv was high quality with full Sky service which was a bonus. There was tea/ coffee making facilities and bottled water with glasses and mugs. The bed was high (took a bit of a push to climb into) but very comfy and spacious with 2 big fat pillows. There was under bed storage for shoes, case etc. The wet room was great, the shower was excellent. All in all, as a bedroom and room to sleep, wash and change, it was fine. Don't stay here if you need room is all I will say. The room was cleaned on the first morning even though we were only booked in for two nights, with clean towels and they made the bed. The reception staff were pleasant, polite and knowledgeable.
The situation of the hotel was ideal for central London and saves a fortune in travel costs. Lots of lovely bars, clubs and restaurants made it perfect for us. Well done. Will be back

We stayed in the Z Hotel for 2 nights. The room was lovely and clean but it stops there. When I was getting ready my husband had to sit on the bed out the way and vice versa. The bathroom was separated from the main bedroom by a glass door which meant no privacy when using the toilet. There was a small window in the bathroom but nothing in the main bedroom which was really cloisterphobic . Staff are really nice it's a shame we won't be staying there again.

The location of this hotel is incredible, there is nothing that your not close to. The room itself is tiny though so being able to freely move around isn't possible. The bed isn't very comfortable but everything is made up by the location. The staff are fine and welcoming! Not a lot wrong but the positives outweigh the negatives.
