My kids and I just got home from a duck tour which we really enjoyed. Unlike the previous reviewer, we had an excellent tour guide who gave us lots of interesting information about the places we passed. (Westminster, Parliament Square, St. James's Palace, Buck House, Nelson's Column, Hyde Park Corner, etc etc )What you see is a limited portion of the city -- you can't expect it to take in every single sight! It's also fun to wave to the bemused tourists who can't quite believe what they're seeing as you trundle past in a big yellow amphibious craft, waving like the queen! Plunging into the Thames was exciting and a novel way to see that part of the river. If you get the right guide, it's well worth the money. Good fun for all the family (take woolly hats, though, cos it's pretty cold on the river).
