I have eaten here many times, as the food is always good, and reasonably priced. The beer is on the pricey side. My only criticism would be that they should change the menu a little more often. The beer is on the pricey side.
The pub is situated just to the north of the Kings Road. There is a small terrace outside, but it is next to a road junction and quite a busy road. The terrace is good for calmer weekend afternoons in the summer as it is west facing, but I would find it too noisy during the week.
There is a pub quiz on a Wednesday, which is popular (i.e. if you want to play, you are strongly advised to reserve a table beforehand). Reservations aren't necessary the rest of the week if there is only two of you, but I would recommend reserving if more than two.
