I booked via top table where there was an offer for 15% off the total food bill. The food is mostly from South India and having visited there on a couple of occasions I can say that the food at Simply Indian is very authentic. They clearly use very fresh ingredients and each dish was flavoured individually - everything was very tasty.
There were 4 of us and we had popadoms, a starter each (Indian dumplings were very tasty!), a main course each, rice to share and a naan bread each, plus a couple of bottles of water and it came to £15.00 per head! (£12.50 with the top-table discount).
The only down-side is that we went on a Friday night and they were VERY busy. The restaurant itself is very small, so I would not recommend you go for a romantic meal on a Friday night. Dont let this put you off though, the popularity is clearly due to the high standard of food and good value. The waiters were also very friendly and happy to answer any questions about the menu/food.
