My husband and I were in Norfolk to attend a funeral and the hotel accommodation was booked for us. We could not have chosen better. Maureen and family did everything they could to make us comfortable. Our room was comfortable and well furnished and the food was AMAZING.
Everything that came out of the kitchen was of a consistently high standard and excellent quality. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to our friends.

We stayed at this hotel with our friends for 2 nights (if you can call it a hotel) the restaurant food was very poor and expensive the breakfast a simple fry up with no published choice, the bar/restaurant area had no atmosphere despite being told by the owners that it was the in place to be, all we experienced was the local yobs who swore in the bar area and margaret drinking the pints.The outside front & rear of the hotel needs completely renovating, including the gardens, also get rid of the smelly fish and chip shop adjoining also the off putting fag smells, and clean the windows, in all the worst weekend we had experienced for some years, all we can say is the other reviewers must have had there eyes closed and live to very low standards as all of the reviews were incorrect and it was these reviews that convinced us to book a weekend stay.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at The Keswick Hotel, Bacton, which is near Norwich. Margaret and Russell made us feel very welcome and we really enjoyed our stay.

Margaret is a wonderful host and Russell is a very talented chef and so the food was always first-class. The hotel is stuated on a magnificent sandy beach to which there is easy access from the back of the hotel. Our room had fantastic views of the sea.

Whilst the weather was not too good, Bacton proved an ideal base to explore Norfolk and we also found that Suffolk was within easy reach. However, we were always happiest when we arrived back at The Keswick with dinner to look forward to.

A real benefit was the free wireless internet access. As I run my own business, this was important to me and it proved fast and reliable and was available throughout the hotel and in our room.
