I came down on contract to work locally and booked into the Keswick for a week to see what it was like. After two nights I extended my booking for the duration of the contract. The hotel has a real friendly family atmosphere, the food is excellent. The regular (non resident) locals are also very friendly. I feel almost home from home and cannot recommend it highly enough.

My husband and I were in Norfolk to attend a funeral and the hotel accommodation was booked for us. We could not have chosen better. Maureen and family did everything they could to make us comfortable. Our room was comfortable and well furnished and the food was AMAZING.
Everything that came out of the kitchen was of a consistently high standard and excellent quality. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to our friends.

We stayed at this hotel with our friends for 2 nights (if you can call it a hotel) the restaurant food was very poor and expensive the breakfast a simple fry up with no published choice, the bar/restaurant area had no atmosphere despite being told by the owners that it was the in place to be, all we experienced was the local yobs who swore in the bar area and margaret drinking the pints.The outside front & rear of the hotel needs completely renovating, including the gardens, also get rid of the smelly fish and chip shop adjoining also the off putting fag smells, and clean the windows, in all the worst weekend we had experienced for some years, all we can say is the other reviewers must have had there eyes closed and live to very low standards as all of the reviews were incorrect and it was these reviews that convinced us to book a weekend stay.
