“Way above a normal B&B”

Gothic House

From the moment we arrived I felt very comfortable and well looked after. Gothic House is beautifully decorated and has loads of personal touches that made me feel pampered and special.

Nothing was too much trouble for Clive (under the watchful supervision of Tensing).

The house is remarkably peaceful despite its close proximity to Norwich city centre. I've already recommended it to a number of friends and definitetly intend to stay again.

“Our stay at Gothic House”

We've just come back from a one night stay at Gothic House. We found it to be a delightful find which we would recomend to anyone wanting to visit Norwich. A gorgeous old house in a lovely part of the city, the house is packed with character and furnished beautifully. Also a great breakfast watching the Easter Sunday snow added to the experience. Finally there is a great little pub yards from the house which we made full use of. Overall a really lovely stay.

“Fantastic B&B”

Gothic House

Very comfortable and welcoming B&B. The towels and dressing gowns are a rare treat more likely to be found in a top hotel yet with the friendly feel of staying in someone's much loved home. Clive is a friendly host who cooks a great breakfast from local produce and makes every effort to ensure your comfort.

On calling to say I was arriving late Clive offered to fix a meal, so I was welcomed at 11pm with grilled salmon and a tasty salad. Well beyond the call of duty.

“A touch of class in Norwich”

Gothic House

I stayed here for a weekend in cold January and Gothic House offered everything to ensure I had a relaxing stay in Norwich plus the extra touch of quality - fluffy dressing gowns, home made shortbread for early morning tea and a breakfast menu which was extensive. The breakfast was well presented and the owner clearly used a decent butchers - thick, juicy bacon rather than the dry thin rubbish you get in mass catering. The pub nearby served a wide range of real ales in tip top condition - i'm jealous not to have such an establishment on my front door!

“A great place to stay in Norwich”

Gothic House

Gothic House is a small (two bedrooms) and friendly B&B within walking distance of the city centre and some excellent real ale pubs. The place is beautifully decorated, the bathrooms had fluffy towels and Molton Brown products and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfasts were good as well!
