I only stayed one night, unfortunately. It was my Wedding anniversary. when i phoned to book, and explained the occasion. I was offered the honeymoon suite with four poster bed at no extra charge. The hotel is a fantastic old building, the year 1900 is on the reception door. The staff were all very pleasant and helpfull. i can only comment on the breakfast, as we went into Whitby in the evening. But it was great, a really good choice.
The bar was like a gentlemans club, big leather chairs. The only thing i disliked was the price of a drink. £5.20 for a JD&Coke, but the prices fit in with its 5 star image.
would i go back? Too right.. it costs more than your average 3 star, but you get what you pay for.
