As I think other reviews have said, Cutlers Hotel seems to fall somewhere between being a pretty nice hotel and a not very good one.
The location is great - right in the city centre, perfect for theatres/sightseeing. My room was fine, although a bit cramped - the furniture didn't quite seem to fit - and rather noisy (building work nearby?). The bathroom was good. Breakfast (I ordered room service) was fine and came at the time I'd requested.
However, there were some niggles, perhaps down to inexperienced members of staff, such as having to wait for 15 minutes to get into my room, and no one being able to tell me whether I could have a late check-out, even on the morning of my departure! The fact that the hotel phones weren't working so I had to keep going down to reception, only to find that no one could answer what must be a common question, was particularly annoying. But to be fair, other members of staff were helpful and friendly.
So overall, I wouldn't rave about this hotel, but it's ok, and has the potential to be much better.
