lovley pub for walking with a great selection of ale and wine to relax with after. stayed with my wife and we had a wonderful night. LAndlady was very welcoming along with her staff who seem to work very hard as the pub does get busy. Would def return esp for the wonderful sized fish and chips.

We stayed here for one night after a friend's wedding at a hotel down the road (The Maynard) Booked it at the last minute and delighted that we made the decision to stay over. Lovely setting, helpful staff, nice leisurely breakfast (continental buffet comes free) and very comfortable rooms. Only thing I would say is to allocate a named driver if going out for the evening as taxis are hard to get in such a rural area.

I've stayed at Fox house several times, on one occasion I received a marriage proposal from my boyfriend! Recently stayed here on Feb 14th.
Each stay has always been wonderful. The rooms are big (stay on the upper floor)with great views and usual facilities. The food is delicious with excellent service The location is great if you're into walking, or if like us you just fancy a peaceful time in comfortable and welcoming surroundings.
