Located on the M1 I expected this hotel to suffer from road nosie but it doesn't. Rooms are a good standard and well equipped. Four people room for 45 Pounds is a good deal. Hotel is on Southbound side of M1.

I rate Days Inn and this one was no exception.

Reception staff were friendly and chatty. The room was large enough, very clean and functional. No view from the window but I also couln't hear the M1 motorway.

I was in an "executive" room which in addition to the standard free newspaper fruit and coffee from the clix machine gave you a fridge with a complimentary bottle of water and a nutrigrain bar.

Clean modern bathroom with a powerful shower, large towels and plenty of hot water. If you forget any toiletries they will supply the basics for free at the 24 hour reception.

For the business traveller it is hard to fault and I highly recommend them.

Whilst having to find an overnight stop when going up to Leeds I hesitated about a motel type just off the motor way,but what a mistake.
We were welcomed by name when we arrived,shown into a nice bright and airy room and made to feel very welcome,even our dogs were shown great welcome(may be it was them not us really!) We had a good nights sleep quiet although the M1 was rumbling almost past the windows.In the morning we had continental type breakfasts brought to the room which were satiisfying enough to last us all day.I thorughly recommend this motel for friendliness,cleanliness and convenience
