I stayed here on the 30th april, we decided to go away for my birthday. When we arrivied we was warmly greeted by rob. he sat us down and took the time to talk to us. he gave us lots of information the surrounding areas, where to go, what to do, where to eat. and drew us a map to town which was very clear, which we then followed the direction in the evening. Rob seemed very laid bakc and was happy for us to come and go as we pleased and didnt mind if we strolled in at 4am infact he incoragaged us, which was really nice as some b&b can be fussy with times.
We stayed in the standard room, it wad pleasantly nice, and i woudnt of called it standard, it was very homely. The drink selection was goood, and i really like that they put hot chocolate in the rooms. They also had little touches like a shower caps, mending kit, flannels, dressing gowns. the only think we had problem with is where to plug the kettle in, from the desk it was on there was no plug socket, i had to put it on the floor under desk, or on top of safe, but wasnt a problem once we had moved it.
I slept well, the bed was very comfy.
BREAKFAST!!! omg the selection was amazing. you have a really goos choice from cereal, fresh fruit, nuts, crossiants (My fave) other pastries. The cooked breakfast was very good, the sausages was very tasty, and egg cooked to perfection.
If i was to stay in bath again, i would deff return to this place. i really enjoyed the stay, Thank you for a very lovely stay.
