We recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We were delighted to find out that the whole hotel was non-smoking. The hotel was built in the 1700s (or so), which means that the floors creak and voices in the hallway can be heard in the rooms. However, this did not bother us at night. The bathrooms were large. There was complementary tea and cookies in the room. We opted for the breakfast in the morning, which we enjoyed. It featured a cold buffet of cereals, fruit, pastries, juices, and yogurt, as well as a hot full English breakfast menu including tea, coffee, toast, eggs, meats, tomatoes, mushrooms, and black pudding. But the best part of this hotel is its location. It is right in the heart of Bath, just a short walk from the Abbey, Roman Baths, Jane Austen, etc. It is also close to shops and restaurants. We came in by train, and took a taxi to the hotel from the station, so I do not have knowledge of the parking situation. All in all, if I ever return to Bath, I would stay at this hotel again.
