We have just returned from a weekend in Bath, we stayed at The Waltons Guest house.
The two people that own it are really friendly and provided us with a map and told us where everything was and they were always on hand for any information on the best places to go.
The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was gorgeous!
The guest house was about 5 mins walk from the town centre and The Crescent was only 2 minutes away.
There is a car park at rear which was very reasonably priced we only paid £13.00 for two nights, plenty of spaces as well.
I reccommend Gascoynes([--]) for lunch or dinner...fantastic food and menu. Also a day at Longleat, as it is fantastic and very good value for money.
Would definately reccomend this guest house!

“Expensive B&B”

We booked this guest house for a Saturday night stay in Bath. Having left the booking to the last minute most other places were fully booked.

We had booked a twin en-suite room which though clean was shabby and very small with two beds, two bed side tables, a wardrobe, dressing table and a chair cramped into a tiny space! The en-suite shower room though on the small side was great with everything you needed and was spotlessly clean.

Breakfast was served from 8-9am which was a bit limiting and was a bit on the small side. However, the cook did bend the rules and provided breakfast for late comers which was nice.

This is a very average B&B and was not very good value at £75 for the night.

I frequently travel to Bath on business and always stay at the Walton due to its close proximity to central bath, well decorated clean rooms and friendly owner. You'd be studpid not to stay here.
