We signed up for a Caravan Stay at Bath Marina. It was great, as it is located in such a perfect location for getting in and out of Bath. Just across the road is the Park and Ride, although that only operates from Monday to Saturday. On Sundays you need to pick up the regular bus service. Route 'SPA1' stops on Newbridge Road and the first service is at about 0910hrs on Sunday - stay on to the last stop, and it drops you by the Abbey - right next to the Roman Baths. Do that on a Sunday and you avoid all of the queues to see the Roman Baths. Next door is the Pump Room restaurant, and what a discovery/surprise that was - a first class restaurant with live background music. Of course, if you want to visit the Thermae Spa, goto the 'visit bath' website and follow the link for the 2for1 offers.
